Reflection
Overall the mechanics have been fairly simple, there has just been one thing that has been difficult to test. I want to be able to incorporate the ability to discard cards into piles based on the incorrect formatting of them, But am not sure of how to go about doing this. Using Construct 3 has been really fun and intriguing, I have used a handful of different techniques when it comes to game design, and I thoroughly enjoy the concept.
Game Title: Elemental Flip
Subject Area: 8th Grade Chemistry
Game Goal: Players will uncover many different elements with incorrect information to them and they must decide what part of the information is incorrect. (i.e. invalid atomic number, protons, neutrons, etc.)
Assessment: Players will be scored on speed and accuracy of their decision making.
I want players to have to analyze the information they are given and understand how to read the information. Being able to read periodic table squares is a crucial part of 8th grade chem.
